Baron Aviation is headquartered in Bassett, Virginia and is operated by Michael Smith.

Michael has an extensive background in aviation maintenance having spent 10 years with a major fixed-base operation involved in all types of service on a variety of aircraft. He has spent the past 10 years as the Manager of Aviation Services at Blue Ridge Regional Airport.

Michael has A/I credentials and maintains an A+P certification.

Continuing to expand his aeronautical knowledge, Michael has attended numerous schools, seminars and has had opportunities for one-on-one interactions with manufacturer's technical representatives to gain specialized knowledge to better understand how to keep his customers aircrafts operating in a safe and efficient manner.
